Local processing only
Mac Storage Intelligence processes files locally on your Mac. Scans and analysis run entirely on your device.
There is no cloud scan. Your files are never uploaded to us or to any other server.
What is stored, and where
Scan history and security-scoped bookmark metadata may be stored locally on your device so the app can remember past scans and retain your permission to access folders you granted. This information stays on your Mac and is not transmitted anywhere.
The app does not collect, store, or transmit the contents of your files.
No accounts, no tracking, no ads
No account or login is required to use Mac Storage Intelligence.
The app contains no advertising SDK. It does not track you across apps and does not sell user data.
Diagnostics
Diagnostics are off by default. If diagnostics are ever enabled, doing so requires your explicit opt-in, and any diagnostics shared do not include file contents or user-selected paths.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. Apple may process purchase data under Apple's own policies.
